Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Gregory J. Schwendeman graduated from the University of Miami School of Law, where he worked his way through law school as a law clerk to a senior Circuit Court Judge in the Felony Division.  Mr. Schwendeman is licensed to practice in both the State of Florida and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.  Additionally, he has been admitted into the United States District Courts for the Middle District of Florida and the Western District of Pennsylvania.  

 

Gregory J. Schwendeman has been active in all stages of the criminal process…from the initial investigation, to the filing of official charges, straight through to verdict at trial.  He has litigated crimes such as DUI, white collar crime, prostitution, drug possession, trafficking, and sales, worthless check, unlicensed contractors, assault, battery, robbery, theft, burglaries, auto theft, and first-degree murder.  

 

Based on his achievements and work ethic, Gregory J. Schwendeman was promoted to a "Division Chief" of the Juvenile Division.  His responsibilities included supervising two courtrooms, training the prosecutors in those courtrooms, and handling his own caseload.  Also, he was very active as the State Attorney's representative in Juvenile Drug Court.

 

As an ex-prosecutor, Gregory J. Schwendeman has handled hundreds of criminal prosecutions.   These involved trials, motion hearings, probation violation hearings, and plea negotiations.  Let him put his experience to work for you.
